Ensure that the key switch and the disconnect switch are in the ON position.
Using the OCS laptop, connected to "Ethernet Switch #3", perform a ping test to the Auto ECM reporting the diagnostic.
Set the "eth0" to IP address "192.168.3.69" by typing:
"sudo /sbin/ifconfig eth0 192.168.3.69"Note: The system will prompt the user for a password.
Open a new terminal window and ssh into Auto ECM #2.
Type "watch / sbin/ifconfig".Expected Result:The display shows the Ethernet ports used, and the receive (Rx) and transmit (Tx) totals. Verify that the Rx line is increasing more than 2500 packets per second.Results:
