PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove two bolts at location A and B. The bolts at location A and B are circled. Refer to Image1.3.1.
Note: It is difficult to align the bolts to the holes if all 4 bolts are removed.
2. Using a pry bar placed between the control valve and the mounting bracket, make a gap between valve body and the mounting bracket. Insert two new 2M-0849 Washers between the mounting bracket and the control valve at locations A and B. Refer to Image1.3.1.
3. Replace the old bolts removed in Step 1, at locations A and B, with two new 8T-4183 Bolts. Tighten to 100 N.m. Refer to Image1.3.1.

5. Using a pry bar placed between the control valve and the mounting bracket, make a gap between valve body and mounting bracket. Insert two new 2M-0849 Washers between the mounting bracket and the control valve at locations C and D. Refer to Image1.6.1.
6. Replace the old bolts removed in Step 4, at locations C and D, with two new 8T-4183 Bolts. Tighten to 100 N.m. Refer to Image1.6.1.
