Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the bottom guards.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct draining procedure.

Disconnect hose assembly (2) and clip (3) .
Remove bolts (1), bolts (6), and front engine oil pan (7) .
Remove bolts (4), bolts (9), and center oil pan (8) .
Remove bolts (5) and rear engine oil pan (10) .
Remove the gaskets.Installation Procedure

Apply Tooling (A) at the joints of the oil pan and cylinder block. Use Tooling (A) to install the oil pan gasket to the cylinder block.Note: Do not tighten bolts (5) at this time.
Install rear engine oil pan (10) and bolts (5) .Note: Do not tighten bolts (9) and bolts (4) at this time.
Apply Tooling (A) at the joints of the oil pan and cylinder block. Use Tooling (A) to install the oil pan gasket onto rear engine oil pan (10). Install center oil pan (8), bolts (9), and bolts (4) .Note: Do not tighten bolts (1) and bolts (6) at this time.
Apply Tooling (A) at the joints of the oil pan and cylinder block. Use Tooling (A) to install the oil pan gasket onto center engine oil pan (8). Install front oil pan (7), bolts (1), and bolts (6) .

Tighten bolts (9) in numerical sequence.

Tighten bolts (6) in numerical sequence.

Tighten bolts (1), (4), and (5) in numerical sequence. Tighten bolts (1), (4), and (5) to a torque of 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft).

Tighten bolts (1), (4), and (5) again in numerical sequence. Tighten bolts (1), (4), and (5) to a torque of 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft).

Connect hose assembly (2) and clip (3) .
