Information:

Start By:a. remove stick1. Install blocks in the hydraulic lines for the bucket cylinder. 2. Start the engine and lift boom. Remove stands (2) and lower boom to ground.3. Remove bolt, washer and spacer from rod end pin (1). 4. Fasten a hoist to rod of the boom cylinder. Remove pin from rod end of cylinder. Start machine and move the rod into cylinder. Lower boom cylinder (3) to ground.5. Use the same procedure above for other boom cylinder. 6. To release the oil pressure in the stick and bucket circuits, slowly open four screws (5) one half turn until all oil pressure is released. Tighten screws.
Do not disconnect any oil lines until all oil pressure in the stick and bucket cylinder circuits has been released.
7. Disconnect four oil lines (6).8. Remove panel (4) to get access to inside pin.9. Fasten a hoist to the boom. Lift the boom until there is no force against pins (7). Remove pins with tooling (B). 10. Remove boom (8) and stick cylinder as a unit. Weight is 3674 kg (8100 lb).11. Fasten a hoist to the hoist cylinder. Disconnect the two hydraulic hoses and remove pin from head end of stick cylinder. The following steps are for the installation of the boom. 12. Fasten a hoist to stick cylinder (10). Put the cylinder in position on boom. Install head end pin (11).13. Connect two oil lines (9) to the stick cylinder. 14. Fasten a hoist to the boom. Put the boom in position on the frame and install pins (7).15. Connect four oil lines (6) to the lines on the boom. 16. Install panel (12).17. Fasten a hoist to the rod end of boom cylinder (3). Lift the cylinder until it is in a straight line with the hole in the boom for the rod end pin. Start the engine. Operate the boom control lever and move the rod out of the cylinder until the bore in the rod is in alignment with the bore in the boom. Install rod end pin (1).18. Install spacer, washer and bolt in the pin. Connect grease hose.19. Follow Steps 17 and 18 and connect the left boom cylinder to the boom.20. Lift boom and install tool (A) under boom.21. Remove hydraulic oil pressure from bucket cylinder lines. Remove blocks from lines.End By:a. install stick
