Hydraulic Oil and Filters
Change
Operate the machine long enough to warm the oil.The machine should be level. The parking brake engaged and the engine stopped. 1. Open the engine access cover. 2. Remove the hydraulic oil tank filler cap.3. Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to drain. Always dispose of drained fluids and filters as established by local regulations.4. Clean and install the drain plug. 5. Remove and discard the filter element.6. Inspect the condition of the seal; replace if necessary.7. Install a new filter element.8. Fill the hydraulic tank with new oil. See the "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" chart. Clean and install the filler cap.9. Start the engine and allow the oil to warm. Check for leaks. Stop the engine.10. Maintain the oil on the sight gauge between the ADD and FULL marks.11. Lower the engine access cover.Rear Drive Axle
Change Oil
Repeat the following procedure for both the left and right axle housings. Remove a total of three drain plugs from each axle. 1. Rotate the wheels so the drain plugs are at the bottom. 2. Remove drain plug (2) from the center cavity.3. Remove two drain plugs (1) and drain the oil into a suitable container. Fill and vent plugs can be removed to allow air to replace the draining oil. This will speed the draining process. Always dispose of drained fluids and filters as established by local regulations.4. Clean and reinstall the plugs. 5. Fill the axle housing with new oil. See the "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" chart.6. Reinstall the outer wheel, if it was removed. Check the oil level (See the procedure in "Every 50 Service Hours or Weekly").Secondary Brake
Change Oil
Operate the machine to warm the oil in the brakes. Repeat the following procedure for both the left and right brakes. 1. Remove drain plug (2). The drain plug is located directly opposite the check/fill elbow on the brake housing. Remove fill plug (1) and breather (3). Always dispose of drained fluids and filters as established by local regulations.2. Clean and reinstall the drain plug.3. Fill the brake housing with new oil using the lower elbow. See the "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" chart. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for oil level to settle and re-check level.4. Add oil to maintain the oil level to the top of lower elbow (1).5. Install fill plug and breather.
