Remove two bolts (1), three bolts (2), and three bolts (4) .
Remove panel (3) .

Disconnect line (5) .

Remove three bolts (7) in order to lower the accumulator.

Remove two nuts (6) and clamp (8) .
Remove accumulator (9) .Installation Procedure
Personal injury can result from the sudden release of high pressure oil.Be sure the engine has been shut off for a minimum of five minutes to be sure that the accumulator pressure is zero.The accumulator is filled with dry nitrogen. Do not loosen or remove the valve or cap from the top of the accumulator. A purge screw at the bottom of the accumulator can be used to release the pressure that is left in the system.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, hoses, wires, and tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes in order to prevent fluid loss and contamination of the hydraulic system.

Place clamp (8) and accumulator (9) in position and loosely install two nuts (6) .

Place the accumulator in position and install three bolts (7) .

Tighten two nuts (6) .

Connect line (5) .

Place panel (3) in position.

Check the ride control accumulator for the proper precharge. Refer to Testing and AdjustingRENR3511, "Accumulator - Test and Charge" for the proper procedure.
Check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7265, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the 924G Wheel Loader or refer to Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7266, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the 924Gz Wheel Loader.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the proper procedure.
