Remove the engine side guards on the right side of the machine.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Loosen clamp (3). Remove bolts (2). Position muffler (1) to the side.
Remove bolts (4) and remove pipe assembly (5) .

Disconnect hoses (6), (7), and (8) .

Disconnect tube assembly (9) .

Disconnect hose assembly (10). Support turbocharger (11) and remove nuts (12). Remove turbocharger (11) .Installation Procedure
Install turbocharger (11) in the reverse order of removal
Apply Tooling (A) to nuts (12) .
