Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to boom assembly (52) and remove boom assembly (52) .

Remove bolt (62), pin assembly (63), and pulley (64) .

Remove bolts (65) and pad assembly (66). Repeat for the remaining pad assemblies.

Remove nuts (67) and reposition chain assembly (41) .

Remove bolts (68) and cover (69) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (71). Disconnect hose assemblies (70) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to boom assembly (72). The weight of boom assembly (72) is approximately 1678 kg (3700 lb).Note: Make the rear leg of the suitable lifting device approximately 178 mm (7.0 inch) shorter than the front legs.

Remove bolts (73). Use Tooling (F) in order to remove pin assemblies (74). Reposition compensating cylinder (76) and boom cylinder (75). Repeat for the opposite side.
