PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Preparation:
Refer to UENR0139, Disassembly and Assembly, in order to separate the upper frame and undercarriage frame and remove the swivel and the hoses in the UC from the Swivel. Position the lower frame for welding repair. Refer to Image1.1.1.

Welding Repair Procedure:
1. Mark the numbers 1 to 8 on the base frame. Refer to Image1.2.1.

2. Apply gouging to the cracked weld seam along with the non-cracked weld seam, from 1 to 8 in turn, and perform the weld. Refer to Image1.3.1, Image1.3.2, Image1.3.3.
Note: Perform the gouging and welding at a diagonal in order to prevent heat stress. Perform gouging in the present welded part.

3. Confirm welded condition. Grind the surface if needed.
4. Paint the repaired area on base frame.
5. Turn over the UC to the normal position. Install the swivel. Connect all hoses on the UC. Connect the upper frame and UC to retrieve the machine base. Refer to UENR0139, Disassembly and Assembly, for additional information.
