Cab Temperature Sensor
The cab temperature sensor is located behind the recirculation filter in the heating and air conditioning unit. The air inside the cab is drawn across the temperature sensor and the control module uses this sensor to control the cab temperature.Outside Ambient Temperature Sensor
The outside ambient temperature sensor is located in the left rear corner of the cab. Air outside the cab is drawn across the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor provides outside temperature conditions to the control module.Sensor (Direct Sunlight)
The sensor is used to detect direct sunlight into the cab. The sensor is located on the top of the right console directly beside the front window. The sensor sends a signal to the control module that indicates the amount of sunlight in the cab. The control module will adjust the low fan speed accordingly.Temperature Sensor (Evaporator Coil)
The temperature sensor for the evaporator coil is located in the air conditioner and heater group in the cab. This sensor is for freeze protection. The refrigerant compressor is turned off when the evaporator coil reaches a preset temperature.
