Use Tooling (B) in order to unseat retaining ring (8) from camshaft (7) .
Partially remove camshaft (7). Remove the slack adjuster. Remove washer (9) and camshaft (7) .

Remove lip seals (10) and bearings (11) .

Remove drum assembly (12). The bolts for the drum assembly must be discarded.

Remove the lockwires and bolts (13). Remove pin assemblies (14). Remove rollers (15) .Installation Procedure

Install rollers (15). Install pin assemblies (14). Install bolts (13). Tighten bolts (13) to a torque of 150 10 N m (111 7 lb ft). Install the lockwire for bolts (13) .

Install drum assembly (12). The bolts for the drum assembly must be replaced with new bolts. Tighten the bolts for drum assembly (12) to a torque of 120 10 N m (89 7 lb ft). Then tighten the bolts by an additional 120 5 degrees.

Use Tooling (C) in order to install bearings (11). The bearings must be installed to a depth of 7.5 1.0 mm (0.30 0.04 inch). Use Tooling (C) in order to install lip seals (10) .

Partially install camshaft (7). Install the slack adjuster. Install washer (9) and camshaft (7) .
Use Tool (B) in order to install retaining ring (8) onto camshaft (7) .

Install washer (6). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (5) .

Install the shoe assemblies. Install anchor pins (4). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 200 10 N m (148 7 lb ft).

Install dust shields (1). Use Tooling (A) in order to install springs (2) .
