Installation Procedure
Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install the O-ring seal to unit injector hydraulic pump (26).
Attach a suitable lifting device to unit injector hydraulic pump (26). The weight of unit injector hydraulic pump (26) is approximately 29 kg (65 lb). Position unit injector hydraulic pump (26) to the engine.
Fill unit injector hydraulic pump (26) with clean engine oil. The unit injector hydraulic pump holds approximately 0.75 L (0.79 qt).

Install bolts (27) that hold unit injector hydraulic pump (26) to the unit injector hydraulic pump drive.

Install bolts (25) that hold the unit injector hydraulic pump to the unit injector hydraulic pump drive.
Connect harness assemblies (24) and (23).

Install the clipand bolt (22) that holds the hose assembly to tube assembly (12).

Connect tube assembly (12) to the unit injector hydraulic pump.
Position hose assembly (19) to the unit injector hydraulic pump. Install clips (17) and bolt (18).
Connect hose assembly (20) to the unit injector hydraulic pump. Install a new tie strap (21).

Install tube assemblies (16) and (15).
Connect hose assembly (14) to the fuel transfer pump.
Connect harness assembly (13).

Install the clip and bolt (11) that holds tube assembly (12) to the front of the engine.

Position the harness assembly to the engine. Install a new cable strap (10) that secures the wire harness to the clip.

Position platform assembly (7) to the engine. Install bolts (9).

Connect hose assembly (4) to the drain valve.
Connect harness assembly (1). Install clips (5) and (6). Connect hose (2) to pump assembly (3).
Prime the fuel system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System - Prime".
Check the level of the engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil Level - Check".
Close the front hood and the rear hood. End By:
Close the drain valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tanks (Brake) - Purge".
Remove the body retaining pin. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Retaining Ring and Pin (Body) - Remove and Install".
