Procedure To Install New VIMS Message Center
1. Remove four screws securing existing VIMS message center to the console.

Disconnect six pin DT connector from location (B) and two lamp sockets from locations (A) and (C) on the existing VIMS message center as shown in Illustration 1.3. Cut off the bottom lamp socket removed from location (C), strip two wires, and crimp two 8T-8730 Sockets (1) to the wires.4. Terminate 113 orange wire into location one of 102-8807 Connector Plug Kit (2). Terminate E710 blue wire into location two of 102-8807 Connector Plug Kit (2).

Rear view of 149-2357 Message Center (3). 5. Connect six pin DT connector to location (B) and two pin DT connector to location (D) of 149-2357 Message Center (3) as shown in Illustration 2.6. Connect remaining lamp socket to location (A) of 149-2357 Message Center (3) as shown in Illustration 2.7. Install 149-2357 Message Center (3) to the console and secure with four existing screws.
