Application
Mechanical latch (1) and hydraulic cylinder (2) with check valve (3) are designed to stay connected without hydraulic power. Further lock piston (4) will insure to keep latch (1) in locking position even if a malfunction of check valve (3) and occurs or hydraulic hoses are destroyed.Operating Principles
* Fixed arm (5) and moving arm (6) on the coupler engage the bucket (attachment) linkage pins (7), (8).* Latch (1) prevents linkage pin (7) from loosening. Check valve (3) maintains moving arm (6) in engaged position.* Lock piston (4) prevents latch (1) from opening.* Hydraulic cylinder (2) moves latch (1) and moving arm (6) to engage and disengage the bucket (attachment). * Hydraulic cylinder (2) is activated with quick coupler switch, located behind the right console. Open the access cover to move this switch.* Pull up and turn this switch forward for coupling. Pull up and turn this switch backward for uncoupling. When selecting uncoupling, the lock piston unlocks automatically.Attachment Mounting Procedure
1. Position the attachment on a level surface.2. Install linkage pins (1), (2) to attachment with bolts (3) and nuts (4). 3. Position Quick Coupler (5) in line between linkage pins (1), (2). 4. Extend bucket cylinder until fixed arm (6) closing linkage pin (2) and lift the attachment a little. 5. Pull up and turn the quick coupler switch forward to couple. 6. Raise boom or stick. Confirm the attachment is firmly engaged and is ready for use. Check the lock piston not to be out. 7. Close the coupler switch access cover not to touch unintentionally.
Improper attachment of implements could result in injury or death. Do not operate this machine until you have positive indication that the latch and moving arm are fully engaged.
Attachment Release Procedure
Before releasing the Quick Coupler from the attachment, be sure the attachment is not carrying any load. The attachment could move, causing load to become unstable and fall.Never operate the quick coupler switch when the attachment is not firmly positioned on the ground.If operator or any person is in the cab and at the controls, clear all personnel from the machine and the area while performing the steps that follow.
