371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp (MS352 MPGPS)The 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp (MS352 MPGPS) can be used for new installations as well as a service replacement for the 395-1067 Satellite Receiver (MS952 MPGPS). Existing MS952 receiver 388-2414 Wiring Harness, and 385-2567 Power Harness As can be used with the 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp when the 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp is used as a service replacement and no remote interface to the receiver is desired. The 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp will use the same 372-4806 Antenna as the MS952 receiver. The 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp can use the same 343-8448 Cable As as the MS952 receiver. New 424-0876 Cable As, and 424-0877 Cable As are available to replace the 343-8448 Cable As .Upgrading MS352 from MS952
To gain access to the MS352 remote interface, the receiver harness must be upgraded to the 367-3253 Wiring Harness, 378-7956 Wiring Harness, and 378-7957 Wiring Harness depending on application.Upgrading MS352 from LPGPS Receiver
The 371-7044 Satellite Receiver Gp can also be used to replace the 304-3928 Satellite Receiver Gp (LPGPS) receiver, but it is not a direct service replacement. This is an upgrade and will require an MPGPS installation kit, and adapter, or mast depending on application.Note: The latest versions of VIMS 3G software or HIM software should always be used with MPGPS. Always check SIS Web for the latest release. The latest available HIM software is currently v2.0.3. The latest VIMS 3G release is "New File Format 2012_Q3". The latest MS352 firmware is v4.66. MS352 receivers will ship with v4.66 firmware installed.Required Parts
