11. Disconnect 4S7572 Hose Assembly at 5D0470 Valve Assembly, and install 4H6147 Connector into valve assembly. Install 4S7572 Hose Assembly into 4H6147 Connector.12. Install a new 5T0075 Floor Mat in the cab.13. Remove four screws securing 8W5858 Console (transmission control), and lift the console from the panel. 14. Drill one 12.5 mm (.50 in) hole, and one 3.5 mm (.138 in) hole at the general location shown. Remove any burrs caused by drilling. Location dimensions are not specified. Installer is to locate switch with adequate clearance to allow for proper switch operation and wiring.15. Install 8D2676 Switch, using the two nuts, locking ring, and internal tooth washer supplied with the switch.16. Locate wire 202BK (Black 18 AWG wire), part of 8W2179 Harness Assembly, and connect this wire to terminal 2 of 8D2676 Switch.17. Locate wire 708YL (Yellow 16 AWG wire), part of 8W2179 Harness Assembly, and connect this wire to terminal 3 of 8D2676 Switch.18. Install 8W5858 Console (transmission control), and secure with four screws. 19. Connect a length of Blue 16 AWG wire from 3T3132 Differential Lock Switch to 7N9719 Differential Lock Solenoid. 20. Connect a length of Black 16 AWG wire from the opposite side of 7N9719 Differential Lock Solenoid to ground. 21. Connect a length of Yellow 16 AWG wire from the other terminal of 3T3132 Differential Lock Switch to the fuse block marked "Solenoids".22. Mount the headlight dimmer switch at the new location using the two screws and lockwashers removed earlier. If the headlight dimmer switch wires are too short, they will require splicing.651E and 657E Conversion
Remove Old Controls
1. Disconnect and remove the old differential lock control pedal assembly and transmission hold pedal assembly. The wiring from the old differential lock switch will be connected to the new differential lock switch. The wiring to the old transmission hold switch will be connected to the new transmission hold toggle switch, which will be located in the transmission control console. 2. Remove the two screws and washers securing 2H1855 Dimmer Switch. The screws and washers will be used again to mount the dimmer switch in the new location. There is no need to disconnect the wiring to the dimmer switch, unless they are too short to allow the dimmer switch to be relocated.3. Remove the floor mat in the cab area.Parts Needed
Installation
1. Disconnect one end of 6G5037 Tube Assembly and bend the tube enough to provide the necessary clearance required for the new pedal assembly. 2. Install 8W5759 Bracket. Use four 5M3062 Bolts and four 8T4896 Washers to secure the bracket to the floor.3. Mount 3T3132 Switch Assembly to 8W5761 Plate and install the plate assembly to the bracket mounted in Step 1, using two 5M3062 Bolts and two 8T4896 Washers. 4. Install 8W4678 Pin into 7H4155 Mount, and install mount onto 8W5759 Bracket. Secure mount using two 2F2860 Screws and two 1H4393 Lock Washers. 5. Install 4B3575 Setscrew and 1B2578 Nut to bracket as shown.6. Install 8W5760 Pedal, using 6D0861 Pin and 3B4607 Cotter.7. Install
