View At Parking Brake1. Remove eight bolts (3) and four straps (2). Move the yoke forward on shaft (1). 2. Remove eight bolts (7) and four straps (8) and remove drive shaft (1) from the machine.3. Remove two bolts (5) and the washers that hold bearing assembly (6) to the machine frame.
View At Front Axle4. Remove eight bolts (9) and four straps (10).5. Remove drive shaft (4) from the machine.
View Between Transmission and Rear Axle6. Remove eight bolts (13) and four straps (12), then remove the universal joint. Remove yoke (11) from the rear axle. The following step are for the installation of the drive shaft group. Install by reversing the steps of the removal using the following specifications. 1. Torque twenty bolts (1) to 71 10 N m (52 7 lb ft). Two bolts hold each strap. The strap is deformed after second bolt (1) is tightened. The first bolt may loosen. Tighten the first bolt again.2. Torque one bolt (2) to 105 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).3. Tighten set screw to bottom of keyway. Loosen one-half turn and tighten locknut to a torque of 24 4 N m (18 3 lb ft).
