Introduction
This procedure should be performed if there is harshness experienced during shifts to or from certain speeds and/or directions. Step 1. Operate machine.a. Operate the machine and determine which shift or shifts are harsh.b. Determine which clutches are used. Expected Result: Is there one "common" clutch for all harsh shifts? Results:* YES - Proceed to Step 2.* NO - Proceed to Step 3. Step 2. Replace valve(s).a. Determine which shift or shifts are harsh.b. Replace the modulating valve(s) for that shift or shifts.c. Calibrate the transmission modulating valves following the procedure in SENR8367 "Power Train Electronic Control System".d.
