Electrical & Engine parameters supported on Public J1939 & Modbus
PL ELITE systems with a configuration file enable the Advanced PL Features. Controls supporting public J1939 and/or Modbus protocols can be added as inputs to the configuration file. Electrical and engine parameters supported by these controls and communicated on these protocols are possible inputs that can be added. The lists below are meant as a reference for what parameters could be added. The specific list of supported parameters can vary between engine controls and EMCP/PW installed as well as the package configuration. The best way to ensure that the availability of the parameters is to verify if the information is available on the local control panel. Table 1 is a subset of the public J1939 parameters the EMCP/PW generator controls support. Power metering is only supported on EMCP 3.2/3.3/4.2/4.3/4.4 and PW 2.0/2.1. Generator winding and bearing temperatures require an RTD or TC Module installed.
