Install tool (E) to lift the lift cylinder into position the same way it was installed in the REMOVE LIFT CYLINDER.14. Start the machine and move the rod in the cylinder until the bore in the rod end is in alignment with the bore in the loader frame.15. Put the pin in position through the loader frame and rod end of the lift cylinder with the counterbore in the pin toward the inside of the machine. The weight of the pin is 115 lb. (52 kg). Make sure the collet is clean and free of oil and grease. 16. Put collet (8) in position in the loader frame. If tooling (F) is not available do Steps 8 and 9 again. 17. Install tooling (F) as shown in the illustration.18. Use tooling (F) to push the collets to the pin with a force of 60 ton (535 kN). 19. Install bolt (9) and washer as shown. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 1330 150 lb.ft. (1800 200 N m) with tool (D). 20. Put retainer (10) in position on the loader frame. Install the bolts that hold the retainer in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 630 20 lb.ft. (850 27 N m). 21. Install guard assembly (11) on the front of the machine. 22. Connect grease line (12) to the rod end of the lift cylinder. 23. Fasten a hoist and install fender (13) on the machine. 24. Start the machine and remove tooling (G) from under the loader frame. Remove wooden blocks (14) from under the bucket. Lower the bucket and loader frame to the ground.Disassemble Lift Cylinder
