2 Thoroughly clean case (1) to remove all metal particles. Install former gears (5) and (6) and the remainder of the parts as shown in the Service Manual. Install 1P7834 Cups (7) in case (1) and in 3T6199 Cage Assembly (8). Install 1P7835 Cones (9) on 3T8050 Gear (10). Install cover (11). Use 3P3503 Shims (12) as needed to get .08 .03 (.003" .001") end play on gear (10). Install a 7L2181 Seal in cage (8) and install the cage with the former bolts and 5M2894 Washers. Install 5P4483 Plug (13) with a 7M7485 Seal. A Replacement For 7G693 Or 3P3736 Manifold Assembly

If the existing 7G693 or 3P3736 Manifold is not damaged, modification can be made to the manifold assembly. The oil drain hole must be made larger, from 50 Ø (1.97"Ø) to 64 Ø (2.50"Ø) and new seal grooves must be machined. 1 Machine former manifold oil drain hole (1) and O-ring seal counterbores (2) in manifold (3) to the dimensions shown.C Replacement For 3P4654 Transmission Case Assembly
