--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: Elevated Low Idle is now a standard part of the governor control group. The purpose of the elevated low idle speed is to prevent incomplete combustion and over cooling of the engine. The elevated low idle is controlled by button (14) located behind the left side of the operator's seat. See Illustration 1. The parking brake must be in the ON position to activate the elevated low idle.Adaptable To: Elevated Low Idle is part of the 5T0853 Governor Control Group effective with 785 Truck 8GB419 and 789 Truck 9Z450. The new components that make up the elevated low idle are identified in Illustration 3 and the chart. The correct "elevated low idle speed" is 1300 rpm. The speed can be adjusted at regulator (6) located under the "buddy" seat. See Illustration 2. Loosen the locknut and turn the adjusting bolt to achieve 1300 rpm when the elevated low idle is activated.
