Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
Remove eleven of bolts (1) .

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to remove vibration damper (2). The weight of vibration damper (2) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Remove the remaining bolt (1) .

Use Tooling (B) or a punch and hammer in order to puncture three or more holes in crankshaft front seal (3) .
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove crankshaft front seal (3) and the wear sleeve.
