Removal Procedure

Located below the cab on the frame assembly
Put identification on the cable assemblies and the engine harness assembly for installation purposes.
Remove two nuts (1), the two lockwashers, and the two hard washers from the magnetic switch assembly (3).
Disconnect the cable assemblies from each side of magnetic switch assembly (3).
Remove the two nuts and the two lockwashers from magnetic switch assembly (3).
Disconnect engine harness assembly (2) from magnetic switch assembly (3).
Remove four bolts (4) and the hard washers from magnetic switch assembly (3). Remove magnetic switch assembly (3). Installation Procedure

Located below the cab on the frame assembly
Verify that all of the components of the magnetic switch assembly are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.
Position magnetic switch assembly (3) on the frame. Install four bolts (4) and the hard washers on magnetic switch assembly (3).
Connect engine harness assembly (2) to magnetic switch assembly (3).
Install the two lockwashers and the two nuts on magnetic switch assembly (3).
Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound on the threads of each of the terminal posts. Connect the cable assemblies on each side of magnetic switch assembly (3).
Install the two hard washers, the two lockwashers, and two nuts (1) on the magnetic switch assembly (3). Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 11.3 1.1 N m (100 9.7 lb in).
