Illustration 1 g06325044Access the air tanks under the left footboard of the machine.
If necessary, clean the area around the air tank.
Drain the water from air tank using drain fitting (1) located under the air tank. Push the fitting to drain.
Drain the pneumatic circuit using second drain fitting (2).If drain fitting does not function properly, consult your Cat dealer to resolve the problem.Note: Drain fitting can be an automatic or manual type. If manual, a small ring is present on the fitting to act on the fitting. If automatic, there is no need to act on drain fitting.Note: If a damaged drain fitting or air leak is found, consult your Cat dealer and state location, component, nature and seriousness of the leak.For your own safety, never operate the machine with trailers on the railway network if defects are detected.
