There have been complaints that brake systems may require periodic bleeding despite the installation of updated parts. Solution:
It is suspected that the air may be entering the brake system through the bleeder valve. Until a solution is implemented in production, an alternative bleeder valve can be installed on machines that have required periodic bleeding. In order to install the alternative bleeder, remove the 113-8534 Bleed Screw Seat, 113-8532 Bleed Screw, and 112-8683 O-ring. Replace these components with the 3W-7056 Bleeder Assembly, 3J-1907 O-ring, 6V-8397 O-ring, and 6V-8636 Connector. These components are currently used on E Series Challenger Agricultural Tractors.
