All conversions require one 9Y1654 Seal, one 9Y1655 Seal, and one 7E3208 Block for each new MRM. Also, each conversion requires one less 2W5555 Strap Assembly than the number of new MRM's. Installation Procedure
1. Put 5P3975 Lubricant on the sealing surfaces of the new seals. Install the new 9Y1654 and 9Y1655 Seals on the top and bottom tanks.2. Install the 7E2308 Blocks around the seals. Use a small amount of 5H2471 Cement to hold the blocks in position. Use care not to get any cement on the seal surfaces.3. Determine the position of the locating dimples on the grill side of the radiator bottom tank (to the right or left side of the coolant hole). Although there is no particular starting point, it is recommended to start with an end module, and then install the module at the opposite end and fill in with the remaining modules.4. Install the first MRM in the bottom tank so that notch (2) on center tab (3) is positioned on the opposite side of the coolant hole as the dimple. See Illustration 2.
Illustration 2. Location of multiple row module components.5. Install the rest of the MRM's in the bottom tank. Notch (2) will be on opposite sides of adjacent MRM's.6. After all the MRM's are installed in the bottom tank, install the top rank.7. Install 2W5555 Strap Assemblies (4) on center tabs (3).
