3116 EnginesDescription of Change: A new fuel return valve is used in the fuel filter lines group. The valve uses spring force against an O-ring seal and seat. This provides a positive seal against fuel siphoning when the engine is not operating. The former valve could allow the fuel to siphon back to the tank making it hard to start the engine.Adaptable To: The part numbers of the improved 7W9854 (3114 Engines) and 7C9651 (3116 Engines) Fuel Filter Lines Group have not changed. The new valve is effective with 3114 (5EF562, 6AF580, 3ZG116, 5JG742), 3116 (2WG830, 2SG935, 4KG107, 1NJ998, 7SF1) Engines. These parts are adaptable to earlier engines. There is one of each of the new components.
