Rework Procedure
Group Number 1
1. Locate the outside trunnion support plates. Right side shown in Image 1.1.1.

2. Eliminate the interference by grinding 40mm out of the 70mm thick outside trunnion support plates. Image 1.2.1 shows the material that needs be removed from the right side plate. Image 1.2.2 shows the ideal profile for the transition areas.

3. Using the required parts, install the equalizer bar covers per Image 1.3.1. For more information, refer to the Service Magazine article titled "Protective Covers For the Joint On the Equalizer Bar Are Now Used."

Image 2.2.2 shows the ideal profile for the transition areas. If necessary, remove the existing equalizer bar end covers. For more information, refer to the Service Magazine article titled "Protective Covers For the Joint On the Equalizer Bar Are Now Used."

3. If necessary, reinstall equalizer bar end covers.
