ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the current quick-drop valve with the same part number 4T-4205 Quick-Drop Valve. Use the valve and tube spacer plates on cylinders without the valve mounting step. Refer to Image2 for an example of a cylinder without a valve mounting step.
1. Ensure that the valve mounting surface is clean and free of any debris. While cleaning, take care to prevent debris from getting into the cylinder head end port.
2. Insert the 380-8060 Spacer with 4J-0526 O-Ring between the cylinder head and the quick-drop valve. Refer to Image3 for illustration of spacer plate assembly. Using 8T-4122 Hard Washers, tighten the provided 7X-0355 and 7X-0360 Bolts to a specified torque of 215 +/- 40 N.m, in order to mount the quick-drop valve directly onto the cylinder head.
3. Insert the 158-0495 One Piece Flange and 1P-3705 Rectangular Seal between the 9E-4888 Tube and the quick drop valve. Use four 7X-0313 Bolts with 8T-5360 Hard Washers and tighten using standard torques. Refer to Image3 for an illustration of spacer plate assembly.
