Remove the hydraulic check valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Check Valve - Remove and Install".
At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove bolts (1). Remove handle (2) from the fuel tank.

Remove three of four fuel tank mounting bolts (5). Remove two bolts that are adjacent to the hydraulic tank and the front bolt on the right side of the tank. The rear bolt on the right side must be loosened in order to rotate the fuel tank.

Remove bolts (6) and remove bracket (7) from the rear of the fuel tank. This allows ease in rotation of the fuel tank.

Remove hose clamps (8) that secure the hose to the drain elbow.
Remove bolts (9) and remove valve (10) .Note: The tank must be tilted in order to remove the valve from the bottom of the hydraulic tank.

Remove bolts (11) and remove bracket (12) from the side of the hydraulic tank.

Remove hydraulic hoses (13). Plug hydraulic hoses (13). Place a cap on the hydraulic hose fittings.

Remove bolt (14) and remove hose clamp (15) from the rear of the hydraulic tank.

Disconnect wires (16) from the sending unit.
Remove cable strap (17) and remove bolt (18) .

Attach Tooling (A), and a suitable lifting device to the hydraulic tank.
The fuel tank must be rotated toward the right side or away from the hydraulic tank.
Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to tilt the hydraulic tank backward. The hydraulic tank must be tilted backward. This will allow the elbow fitting to clear the frame.
Rotate the hydraulic tank toward the fuel tank and remove the hydraulic tank.
