Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3648" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Remove the head and rod assemblies from the 9T9203 and 9T9204 Tilt Cylinders on the machine. Replace the 101-4118 Piston assembly and the two 6E3666 Washers with a 107-0584 Piston assembly and two 107-0576 Washers. During assembly, lubricate the piston threads and tighten the piston to 700 70 Nm (520 52 ft lbs). Lubricate the piston nut threads and tighten to a torque of 7500 750 Nm (5550 555 ft lbs). After assembling the cylinder, stamp an '07' on the part number tag to indicate that this cylinder has been reworked.
Any dual tilt machines that were updated following the procedure outlined in the October 12, 1992 Service Magazine Article need to be reworked according to this procedure. These machines will be covered following the PIP guidelines. When filing a claim for these machines, include the work order number used when the October 12, 1992 Service Magazine work was performed.
