(1) Chassis Control Module. (2) Three-Point Raise Solenoid. (3) Three-Point Lower Solenoid.This fault code indicates the current in each circuit to the three-point solenoid valves is lower than normal and may be due to separated connectors, an open, or a short circuit to chassis ground.
Check the connection of the hydraulic control valve connectors. Check C164 (lower solenoid) and C165 (raise solenoid).Expected Result: Connector C164 and connector C165 are connected.
YES, reconnect harness to solenoid valves. Check fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 2.
Enter Mode 6 at the EMC and select identification number P050 (raise) and P051 (lower). Disconnect C164 and C165. Measure output voltage of 12 volts across the pins of each connector when the appropriate output ID is selected.Expected Result: Both of the solenoid outputs are present.
YES, check Mode 12 for proper setup. After all Mode 12 parameters are checked and/or corrected, save all of the values even if no changes are made. To save, press and hold the setup/select key for three seconds. Turn the key start switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds. Operate the machine. Check to see if the fault code reoccurs. If the fault code is still active, go to Step 7.
NO, go to Step 3.
Disconnect C164 and C165. Check each solenoid for open circuit or resistance greater than 2.4 ohms. Expected Result: There is an open circuit. The resistance is greater than 2.4 ohms.
YES, replace three-point solenoids. Check fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 4.
Check each solenoid for a short circuit to the chassis. Expected Result: There is a short circuit.
YES, replace three-point solenoids. Check fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 5.
Disconnect C001. Check for open circuit from C001-C to C164-A, from C001-W to C164-B, from C001-L to C165-A and from C001-J to C165-B. Excepted Result: There is an open circuit.
YES, locate and repair open circuit in Rear Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 6.
Check harness for short to chassis ground from C001-C, C001-L, C001-W and C001-J. Expected Result: There is a short circuit.
YES, locate and repair short circuit in Rear Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 7.
Download latest control module software into all control modules. Expected Result: The fault code is active.
YES, go to Step 8.
NO, repair is complete. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
Replace the Chassis Control Module (CCM). Expected Result: The fault code is active.
YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.
NO, go to Step 9.
Install the original CCM.Expected Result: The fault code is active.
YES, original CCM was faulty. Replace original CCM with new CCM. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on
