The cooling system operates under pressure which is controlled by the radiator pressure cap. Removing the cap while the system is hot may allow the escape of hot coolant and steam, causing serious burns.Before you remove the radiator cap, allow the system to cool. Use a thick cloth and turn the radiator cap slowly to the first stop to allow pressure to escape before fully removing the cap.Avoid contact with coolant.
Check the air conditioning condenser core for trash buildup or for blockage. If necessary, clean the air conditioning condenser core with the following procedure.Note: Clean the radiator core when you clean the air conditioning condenser core. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Radiator Core - Clean" .
Stop the engine.
Raise the hood in order to access the cooler cores.Note: See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Compartment Hood - Raise/Lower" .

Release rubber latches (1) on the side of condenser (2) . Swing out condenser (2) .
Direct pressurized air or direct pressurized water through the radiator core at the back of the cooling package. Clean each core from the front to the back. Clean the rear cooler first. Then, work toward the front of the machine.Note: Use pressurized air with a maximum pressure of 205 kPa (30 psi). Use pressurized water with a maximum pressure of 280 kPa (40 psi) .
Straighten any bent fins.
Close condenser core (2) . Engage latches (1) .
Lower the hood.Note: See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Compartment Hood - Raise/Lower" .
