Remove and discard the 452-8526 Heat Shield As. Set aside the associated hardware for reuse.
Install the 514-6555 Shield As with the original hardware.

Install NRS cooler (4) onto the engine with two studs (1), three washers (2), one bolt 3, two bolts (5), and two washers (6). Refer to Illustration 6for the correct location of the hardware.

Attach bellows assembly (8) to the 350-4503 Exhaust Manifold with one clamp (7).Note: Make sure that the bellows assembly is installed correctly with the direction of flow.Tighten clamp ... 7.5 1 N m (66 9 lb in)
Attach bellows assembly (8) to NRS cooler (4) with one clamp (7).
Attach the 344-8272 Air Tube to NRS cooler (4) with one clamp (7).

Install plug (13) into elbow (14).
Install one O-ring (15) onto elbow (14).
Remove the 262-7221 Tube from the 353-2898 Elbow.Note: A new 8T-5917 O-Ring Seal is in the kit in case the 353-2898 Elbow is removed.
Install two O-rings (16) onto the 262-7221 Tube.
Install elbow (14) onto the 262-7221 Tube.
Install elbow (14) into the bottom of the NRS cooler.
Secure elbow (14) to the NRS cooler with two bolts (11) and two washers (12).

Install one O-ring (16) onto water tube assembly (19).
Install water tube assembly (19) into the oil cooler.
Attach water tube assembly (19) to the NRS cooler with one gasket (20), two bolts (17), and two washers (18).

Install clips (26) and (27) around water tube assembly (19).
Attach bracket (23) to loosely brackets (26) and (27) with one bolt (24) and one washer (25).
Attach bracket (23) to the engine with one bolt (21) and one washer (22).
Tighten bolt (24) that was left loose.
Reinstall the air inlet hose with the original hardware.
Reinstall the NRS vent line with the original hardware.
Refill the radiator and engine with coolant. Refer to Special Instruction, M0070968, Coolant Drain and Vacuum Fill Procedure For Certain C9.3 Through C18 Tier 4 Engines for more information.
