Remove the edge trim on the top of the lower glass. you may be able to do this by hand, but if not, use a small piece of wood and a mallet or hammer to gently tap the edge trim off from either end of the edge trim (not in the middle). If you have to tap the edge trim off, make sure that you support the frame from sliding. Be careful not to strike the glass. Once the edge trim begins to separate from the glass, you should be able to finish removing by hand.

Slide the lower glass to the upper portion of the window frame. This will allow you to remove the lower glass without removing any additional seal.

Once the lower glass has been slid into the upper portion of the window frame, slide the glass into either channel as far as it will go. Remove the glass from the opposite side. See Illustration 9.

When assembling the edge trim onto the new lower glass, special attention must be given to the trim's placement along the top edge of the glass. The edge trim length is less than the width of the glass edge. Therefore, the edge trim must be centered so that it will clear the window frame channels when reassembled.
To make assembly easier, use a soap solution to moisten the 9X-2532 Seal prior to assembly.
Center the 9X-2532 Seal along the top edge of the glass with the glass standing upright.
Assemble the edge trim over the 9X-2532 Seal slowly and carefully
