Also, the undercarriage transfers the power from the final drives to the ground.The modular undercarriage consists of assembled components that can be removed and installed as one unit.The undercarriage can be removed as one unit with the use of mounting holes (6). Mounting holes (6) are 105 mm (4.13 inch) in diameter. Mounting holes (6) are also used for mounting chemical tanks to the undercarriage.Power from the final drive flows through drive wheels (1). The friction between drive wheels (1) and belt (8) causes the belt to turn. The force that is needed in order to create the friction between drive wheels (1) and belts (8) is provided by the following components: belt tensioner (3), front idler (4) and midwheels (5). Belt tensioner (3) consists of an accumulator and a hydraulic ram.The weight of the machine is evenly distributed over the ground by the following components: rear drive wheels (1), midwheels (5) and front idlers (4). This helps minimize the amount of soil compaction.
