1. Clean all collets and pins.2. Clean the bores for all collets and pins.3. Apply 7M7456 Bearing Mount to bores before seal installation.4. Put 5P960 Lubricant on the pin bores before assembly. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on all collet fastening bolts.5. Collets and pins must be centered axially. Installation Procedure for Bucket Ejector Cylinder Collet Assemblies: 1. Install the washers (3), pin (4), collets (2) and bolt (1) as shown in the illustration. The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other collet when the bolt is tight.2. Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 370 50 N m (275 37 lb ft). After the bolt is tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolt is less than 200 N m (150 lb ft).3. Tighten the bolt again to a torque of 370 50 N m (275 37 lb ft). Hit each collet again until the torque for the bolt is less than 285 N m (210 lb ft).4. Tighten the bolt to a final torque of 370 50 N m (275 37 lb ft). 50 service hours after any pin and collet was installed, tighten the bolt in each collet assembly to 370 50 N m (275 37 lb ft).
