Machine internal/external boss surfaces until the A-pin groove is aligned with the boss surface, correcting any perpendicularity issue with A-pin it will increase ring retention due to better surface settlement between ring and boss. Refer to Illustrations 3and 4.

Refer to the disassembly and assembly module for your machine. Support the lift arms with a suitable lifting device. Remove the washers (1) and the retaining ring (2). Note the location of washers to aid in installation. Remove the pin from the lift arms.
Drill a hole and tap a hole into each end of the pin. The depth of the holes should be 55 mm (2.2 inch). The threads should be M16 X 2.

Fabricate two plates from steel. The steel must meet the following specifications: ASTM A513, ASTM A519, ASTM A572, ASTM A656, ASTM A808, ASTM A1011, and ASTM A1018Fabricate the plates to the following dimensions.
(A) 9.3 0.5 mm (0.37 0.02 inch)
(B) 25.4 0.5 mm (1.00 0.02 inch)
(C) Diameter of 97.8 0.5 mm (3.85 0.02 inch)
(D) Diameter of 71.1 0.5 mm (2.80 0.02 inch)
(E) Diameter of 18.0 0.5 mm (0.71 0.02 inch)

Install the pin. Install the washers (1) and install the retaining rings (2).

Install the plates on each end of the pin. Use one 9X-8257 Washer (3) and one 8T-4193 Bolt (4) to hold each plate in place.Aesthetic

Due to stack up tolerances when you lower the loader arms and rest the bucket on the concrete floor, the bucket can actually be off by as much as 19 mm (0.75 inch) from one side of the cutting edge to the other. Check the clearance between the wear bar on the Lift arm wear bar (B) and Radiator guard wear bar (C) on the radiator guard, should be at least 10 mm (0.39 inch) on each side.Check the difference between the clearances from Right-hand side (D) to Left-hand side (E) (D-E = 6 mm (0.24 inch)). The value should be within 6 mm (0.24 inch). Refer to Illustration 10.

If necessary, use shims to provide the clearance between the wear bar on the lift arm and wear bar on the radiator guard (Minimum 10 mm (0.39 inch)). The difference between the clearances from Left-hand/.Right-hand should be within 6 mm (0.24 inch).Note: A minimum of one 128-7905 Spaceris required between loader arm and tower on both sides
