Remove bolts (2) and bolts (3). Remove guard assembly (1) .

The tightening sequence for bolts noted above.
Move the machine forward or backward in order to position sprocket segment (4). Position the segment so the segment is clear of the track at the top and bottom.
Remove nuts (6) and bolts (5) that hold sprocket segment (4) to the hub. Remove the sprocket segment from the hub.Installation Procedure

Note: The mating surfaces on the sprocket segment and the hub must be free of paint before the installation process.Note: Tighten the bolts according to the sequence in Illustration 4.
Use the following procedure in order to install each sprocket segment (4) :
Position sprocket segment (4) on the hub.
Lubricate bolts (5) with an SAE 30 lubricant or the equivalent lubricant.
Install bolts (5) and nuts (6). Hand tighten the bolts and the nuts in order to locate the sprocket segment.
Follow the tightening sequence in Illustration 4. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 N m (41 lb ft) in order to seat each bolt.
Follow the tightening sequence in Illustration 4. Tighten the bolts according to Table 1.
Follow the tightening sequence in Illustration 4. Tighten the nuts for an additional 1/3 turn.
Move the machine forward or backward in order to position the next sprocket segment. Position the segment so the segment is clear of the track at the top and the bottom.Note: Repeat Steps 1 through 2 for any remaining sprocket segments that need to be changed.
