Attach the other 217-4171 Hose As (7) to the 6V-8641 Connector (23) in the "EXT" port of the control manifold.

At the other end of 217-4171 Hose As (7) that was installed in the previous step, connect to the hose on the quick coupler that is connected to the "E", or extend, port on the quick coupler cylinder.Electronic Component Installation

202-0835 Quick Coupler Harness As
Connect the 172-9200 Arc Suppressor (C) connection to the arc suppressor.
Connect pin (D) into the existing cab harness at the 12 socket connector. Connect pin (D) into place "12".
Connect pin (E) into the existing cab harness at the 12 socket connector. Connect pin (E) into place "11-780PU".
Connect the ground terminal (B) to the ground strap for the cab.
Connect the connector (A) to the solenoid valve. Refer to Illustration 23.

Connect the connector "C6" to the solenoid on the 322-2922 Control Manifold Gp .Note: In order to connect to the solenoid valve on a machine that is a Series G machine, refer to Table 3.

Connect "C19" into the 189-3158 Arc Suppressor (3) .
Connect "C20" into the 189-3158 Arc Suppressor (3) .
Connect pin 10 and pin 11 and pin 12 into the existing "C2" connector.
Connect pin 12 to the existing "C1" connection.
Remove the existing switch that controls the coupler pin lock in the operator station.
Remove the jumper from "terminal 2" and "terminal 5" on the 225-6303 Switch (8) .
Install the 225-6303 Switch (8) in place of the switch that was removed in 10.
Connect the 225-6303 Switch (8) to the existing wire harness.Note: Refer to Illustration 24 for pin connections and connector locations.Test the system
Start the machine and cycle the controls.
Test the hydraulic supply system by performing the following procedures.
Move the coupler control switch to be positioned in LOCK. When the switch is positioned in LOCK, the wedges should be positioned DOWN.
Move the coupler control switch to be positioned in UNLOCK. When the switch is positioned in UNLOCK, the wedges should be positioned UP.Installation Procedure of 323-5157 Third Valve Rework Kit

Remove the existing bracket and hose assembly that is routed from point "A" at the top of the lift arm to the lower bulkhead.
Weld the two 9C-6809 Block (1) to both lift arms. Refer to Illustration 25 for dimensions.
Reinstall the existing bracket with the bulkhead fitting to the new 9C-6809 Block (1) and attach the existing hardware.Note: If a better fit
