Remove three bolts (9) and the washers from the fender beneath the cab.

Remove bolt (10) and the washer that mounts the fender to the frame.

Remove four bolts (11) and the washers that mount the filter to the fender.

Remove two bolts (12) and the washers from the walkway.

Remove seven bolts (13) and the washers from the ladder.

Use the hoist to carefully remove the fender and walkway (14) from the machine. The weight of the fender and walkway as a unit is 490 kg (1080 lb).

Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting chains to plate (15) .

Remove four bolts (16) and the washers from plate (15) .
