Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Position suitable cribbing in front of the wheels and behind the wheels that are not being removed.

Position Tooling (A) under the frame of the machine. Use Tooling (A) in order to raise the machine until the compactor wheel is off the ground. Lock Tooling (A) in position with a locking ring.
When you are removing the rear compactor wheels, place suitable cribbing between the frame and the rear axle. This will prevent the rear axle from oscillating during the removal procedure.

Attach a suitable lifting device to compactor wheel (1). The weight of compactor wheel (1) is approximately 1590 kg (3500 lb).
Remove bolts (2) from compactor wheel (1) .
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove compactor wheel (1) from the machine.
