Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual and the Service Manual for the machine for further information.
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from operating machines and move away from all personnel. Lower all implements to the ground. Place the joystick control for the blade lift control valve in the float position.
Install the wheel lean locking bolt in the front axle. Install the frame lock pin. Engage the parking brake and stop the engine.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine. Also, all personnel should be visible to the operator.
Place chocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.

(1) 331-1080 Bracket
(2) 331-1081 Bracket
Remove the 331-1080 Guard (1) and the 331-1081 Guard (2). Each of these guards is secured with three 8T-4189 Bolts and three 8T-4224 Washers.
Remove the fuel out of the tanks and place it into a suitable container. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual SEBU7880, "Fuel Tank and Water Sediment - Drain" for reference.

(3) Hose
(4) Clamps
Loosen the four 216-2211 Clamps (4) on the two 258-8699 Hoses (3).
Remove and replace the 258-8699 Hoses with two new 16 cm sections of the 5P-1268 Bulk Hose. Replace the existing 216-2211 Clamps with four new 346-4791 Clamps. The hoses should be flexible enough to fit over the ports for both the 357-5030 crossover tank and the main sections of the 330-3562 and 330-3563 Tank. 207-1601 assembly lubricant can be used to enable easier installation of the hose sections.
Note: a soft tip hose pick can also be used for installing and removing the hose.
Tighten the clamps to a torque of 8.5 +/- 1 nm (75 +/- 9 lb in).
Refill the fuel tanks and check for leaks.
Reinstall the 331-1080 and 331-1081 Guards.
