PLATE AS 3482291 - Caterpillar

The fuel setting on the engine must be changed by a person who has the ability to make the adjustment. Failure to get the correct fuel setting can damage or destroy the engine.
1 Drain the coolant from the engine. Remove elbow (1) and manifold (2). These parts will not be needed again. 2 Install 4N9007 Housing (3) with six 2N8204 Gaskets (4), eleven S1619 Bolts (5), one T65 Bolt (6), twelve 8B2026 Spacers and 8M9024 Washers. Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on bolts (5) and (6). Put a 9M7002 Seal (7) and a 5P7204 Seal (8) on each end of 1W4879 Core Assembly (9). Put core (9) and 4N9008 Gasket (10) in housing (3). Put lubricant on seals (7) and (8). Install 4N4193 Adapter (11) with a 4N4188 Gasket and 4N7807 Adapter (12) in each end of housing (3). Inspect the seals on tube (13); if they are damaged, install new 5S1188 Seals on the tube. Install 4N1324 Adapter (14) on tube (13). Install 4N9005 Cover (15) on adapter (14) and housing (3) with a 4N9008 Gasket, 4N1320 Gasket, twenty-three 1B9575 Bolts and 9M1974 Washers. Install 1W391 Cover (16) with 4N1320 Gasket, four 9F8999 Bolts, seven 5M2894 Washers, one 2S6160 Washer and four 1D4717 Nuts. Install 5M6213 Plug (17), 5M6214 Plugs (18) and 3J5389 Plug (19).Water Lines
1 Remove covers (1) and (2) and the hardware. These parts will not be needed again. Install 4N7796 Elbow (3) and a 4N4188 Gasket on aftercooler (4) with four 1B9575 Bolts. Install 9M7002 Seals on 4N4196 Pipe (5). Put lubricant on the seals and connect 4N4192 Elbow (6) to elbow (3) with pipe (5). Connect elbow (6) and a 4N699 Gasket to the cylinder block with two S1591 Bolts. 2 Install 4N7806 Elbow (7) and a 4N4188 Gasket on aftercooler (4) with four 1B9575 Bolts. Use pipe thread sealant on 5M6213 Plug (8) and install the plug in elbow (7). Install a 9M7002 Seal on each end of 1W7112 Tube Assembly (9). Put lubricant on the seals and install tube (9) in elbow (7). Install 4N2617 Elbow (10) on the other end of tube (9). Fasten elbow (10) and a 4N933 Gasket to bonnet (11) with two S1560 Bolts. 3 Fasten 4N4664 Bracket Assembly (12) to the cylinder block with an existing bolt. Fasten tube (9) to the cylinder block with 2S2053 Clip (13) and an existing bolt. Connect tube (9) to bracket (12) with 2S2053 Clip (14), S509 Bolt and 5M2894 Washer. Fill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks.4 Adjust the fuel setting according to the specifications given in the Fuel Setting Information.
