Start the engine. Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Stop the engine.
Release the tension on the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust".
Illustration 1 g01211423Note: Adjust the height of Tooling (A) to have sufficient clearance for the removal of the track rollers when Tooling (A) is installed under undercarriage frame (1).
Lift the side of the machine. Install Tooling (A) under the undercarriage, as shown.
Refer to Step 5 and Step 6 if the machine is equipped with a single track guide. Refer to Step 7 and Step 8 if the machine is equipped with a full length track guide.

Loosen bolts (3) that hold track guide (2) to the undercarriage.Note: Do not remove bolts (3) at this time.
Attach Tooling (B) to a suitable lifting device. Use Tooling (B) to support track guide (2). The weight of track guide (2) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Remove bolts (3) and track guide (2).

Remove bolts (5), the washers, the pipes, and the supports.
Use two people to remove track guide (6). The weight of each track guide (6) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Remove bolts (4) and track guide (6). Repeat for the remaining track guides.

Loosen bolts (8) that secure track roller (7) to the undercarriage.Note: Do not remove bolts (8) at this time.
Use Tooling (B) to support and remove track roller (7). The weight of track roller (7) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). Remove bolts (8) and track roller (7).Installation Procedure
Install track roller (7) in the reverse order of removal.
The plugs for track roller (7) should face toward the outside of the machine. Make sure that the mating surface between the undercarriage frame and track roller (7) is free of debris.
