Remove the center drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Center) - Remove and Install".
Articulate the machine fully to the right. Chock the wheels. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Release the parking brake.

Remove bolts (1) from the storage location. Install bolts (1) into the piston for the parking brake, as shown. Tighten bolts (1). Set the parking brake.

Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (3) .

Attach Tooling (A), (B), and (C) to parking brake assembly (6). The weight of parking brake assembly (6) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb).

Use Tooling (B) in order to support the front drive shaft. The weight of the front drive shaft is approximately 77 kg (170 lb). Remove bolts (7) .

Disconnect hose assembly (8) and remove elbow (9) .

Install Tooling (D) around the steering cylinder, as shown. This will protect the steering cylinder from damage. Reposition parking brake assembly (6) and attach a suitable lifting device, as shown. The weight of parking brake assembly (6) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb). Make sure that hub (10) does not fall from the parking brake assembly.

Remove O-ring seal (11) .
