Drill and de-burr one 9 mm (0.35 inch) hole in location (A). See Illustration 2. Location (A) is 26 mm (1.02 inch) (AC) away from the door sealing surface on the center line of the cab. See Illustration 2.Note: Use caution when drilling holes, drilling too far through the hole can damage the skylight glass.
Drill and de-burr one 9 mm (0.35 inch) hole in location (B). See Illustration 3. Location (B) is 36 mm (1.42 inch) (AB) away from location (A) along the center line of the cab. See Illustration 3.Field Rework Procedure

Grind remaining tabs from failed mount smooth. See Illustration 4.
Install bracket and hardware as shown in Illustration 1 and torque to 12 3 N m (9 3 lb ft).
Install existing 345-6130 Rear View Mirror and Mounting Gp to 435-9131 Bracket as shown in Illustration 5. Adjust mirror to proper location and torque nut to 15 3 N m (11 3 lb ft).Rework Procedure for Unbroken Mount

Remove the 345-6130 Rear View Mirror and Mounting Gp from existing mounting tab.
Install bracket and hardware as shown in Illustration 1, leaving hardware loose for now.
Align hole from the 435-9131 Bracket with the hole from the roof mounting tab. The roof mounting tab may need to be bent slightly to mate with bracket.
Install the 345-6130 Rear View Mirror and Mounting Gp by putting the stud of the mirror through both the 435-9131 Bracket and the roof mounting tab. See Illustration 6. Adjust the mirror to the proper location and torque nut to 15 3 N m (11. 3 lb ft).
Torque bracket hardware shown in Illustration 1 to 12 3 N m (9 3 lb ft).
