Start By:
Remove the fan drive pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vane Pump (Hydraulic Fan) - Remove".
Put identification marks across the sections of the pump for assembly purposes.

Remove four bolts (1) and cover assembly (2) .

Remove spring (5), O-ring seal (4) and plate assembly (3) .

Remove bushing (6) from plate assembly (3) .

Remove cartridge assembly (7) from pump body (8) .

Remove two pins (9) and rotor assembly (10) .

Remove 12 vanes (11) .

Remove O-ring seal (12) from pump body (8) .

Remove snap ring (13). Remove the shaft and bearing assembly (14) from pump body (8) .

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to remove the bearing from the shaft.

Remove lip seal (16) from the pump body. Remove fitting (17) in order to check the condition of the O-ring seal.

Remove the remaining fittings in order to check the condition of the O-ring seals. Remove plug (18), spring (19) and spool (20). Check the condition of the O-ring seal on plug (18) .
