3. Locate 1 of the 4 temp sensor assemblies and connectors.
4. Carefully cut the zip-tie around the temp sensor connector noting the bundling of the excess wire. Disconnect the temp sensor connector from the harness.
5. Remove elbow cover and wire harness clamp at top of sensor assembly. Set aside for reassembly. Pull the connector thru the top end of the elbow.

6. Loosen the star nut at the base of the temp sensor assembly.
7. Unscrew the temp sensor assembly from the mounting plate; pull the assembly thru the frame hole and the connector thru the assembly while leaving the temp sensor in place. Do not pull or twist the wires.

8. Remove the two bolts holding the plate to the bar. Pull the plate and sensor outward between the bar and the frame pulling the connector end thru the frame. Pull the connector end of the temp sensor thru the plate to separate. Set the plate and bolts aside for reassembly.
9. Thoroughly clean the sensor and wires.
10. Remove the connector from the temp sensor by first removing the lock wedge and then the pins from the connector. Set wedge and connector aside for re-assembly.
11. Pull the protective sleeving off the temp sensor wiring and cut off 50mm.

12. Apply Silicone Sealant on top of the temp sensor. First into the wiring tube and then around the wires on the top of the sensor for a depth of 10mm. Do not apply around the sensor OD. Push protective sleeving in and out of sealant a couple times to insure it is up into sleeving.

13. Cut a 50mm length of 18mm ID dual thin wall shrink tube and pull over the connector end of the temp sensor wire/protective sleeving and down over the top of the sensor until the shrink tube is completely covering the OD of the sensor.

14. Heat the shrink tube from the middle first (to start the glue melting) and then up around the sensor making sure to keep the shrink tube down around sensor. Heat long enough to see the glue push out around the sensor and protective sleeving. Be careful not to overheat or melt the protective sleeving. Let cool ? Do not touch for a couple minutes.

15. Cut a 50mm length of 8mm ID dual thin wall shrink tube and pull over the top of the protective tubing near the connector end to seal around the top of the protective sleeving and wires. Heat long enough to see glue melt at each end of the shrink tube, being careful not to overheat or melt the tubing. Let cool ? Do not touch for couple minutes.
16. Apply thermal paste to coat the bottom of the temp sensor.
17. Put the connector end of the temp sensor thru the threaded hole in the plate and thru the hole in the frame (pull wiring thru frame hole); put the sensor in its hole and reassemble the plate to the bar with the 2 bolts.
